About the Role Join Guardian Glass as a Machine Operator in Richburg, SC. You will operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment across multiple departments (Float, Tempering, Edge Delete, Off-Line Cutting and Coater) to support production and quality goals. This role requires willingness to work a rotational 12-hour schedule, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed. What You'll Do
- Operate and troubleshoot equipment utilized during daily manufacturing
- Prepare final products for shipping and distribution
- Understand and execute daily run schedules, resolve quality issues, report/escalate unresolved issues immediately
- Participate in setting team goals and managing job assignments
- Drive and meet quality standards
- Complete general housekeeping duties to maintain a continuously safe and clean work environment
- Perform tasks such as lifting (up to 50lbs), walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to 12 hours/day in a loud/noisy, hot, humid, dusty, and high-volume environment What We're Looking For
- Experience using a computer or tablet
- One or more years of experience working in a farming, manufacturing, industrial, or military environment
- Six months or more of machine operator experience
- Experience operating a forklift Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $18-20 per hour, based on experience
- Sign-on bonus: $1,000
