About the Role A Machine Operator in Strongsville, OH operates converting equipment, ensures the machine runs smoothly at capacity, and conducts quality checks. The role maintains equipment, inspects labels, packages product, and completes paperwork using QAD to manage work orders.
What You'll Do
- Operate various converting equipment including but not limited to: slitter machine, laminating machine, rotary die cutter, flatbed die cutter, and rewind tables for product inspection
- Inspect labels for defects and perform all required quality checks
- Package labels for shipment and complete required paperwork
- Use QAD to issue/receive product to work orders and print core/box labels
- Complete miscellaneous tasks as requested
What We're Looking For
- Prior production/manufacturing experience preferred
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read and understand all associated paperwork and tools
- Slitting / Laminating experience preferred
- Rotary die cutting experience preferred
- Flat Bed die cutting experience preferred
- Roll fed flexographic experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication and computer skills
- Able to work in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prolonged standing and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
