Machine Operator

Job Details
Base pay starts at $19-$22 per hour 1st Shift: 5:00 am - 1:30 pm
Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and operate heavy machinery and related gauges to perform various cutting, punching, forming, and processing operations
- Knowledge of production techniques and ability to produce quality-building parts
- Know and understand safety rules and precautions in manufacturing
- Operate computerized equipment and material handling equipment
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment and production tools
- Mark part number, order number, number of pieces on parts. Attach identification tags as required
- Maintain continuous improvement practices in work area
- Repetitive material handling with some awkward positioning
- Repetitive climbing on and off equipment and ladders
- Varying working conditions inside a non-air conditioned facility
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

Experience in high-volume manufacturing preferred but not required

Basic math including fractions, measurements, and simple equations

Ability to read a tape measure and interpret measurements

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical documents

Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds
