About the Role Machine Operator is responsible for the set-up, calibration, and operation of production machines. The role follows verbal or written instructions and inspects operations against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools. It also involves determining and correcting more complex machine malfunctions, performing routine maintenance and cleaning, and may assist with NC/CNC programming.
What You'll Do
- Set up, calibrate, and operate machines used in production processes.
- Work from verbal or written instructions, diagrams, or models.
- Inspect machining operations and finished products against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools.
- Determine and correct more complex machine malfunctions.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
- May perform calculations and assist with NC/CNC programming.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with set-up, calibration, and operation of production machines.
- Ability to follow verbal or written instructions, diagrams, or models.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools to inspect tolerances.
