Job title: Machine Operator (3rd Shift)

About the Role The Operator I supports production by operating a variety of equipment to produce quality product per provided criteria and work instructions. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure part quality, proper procedure execution, a safe and productive work environment, and alignment with Milwaukee Tool's culture standards.

What You'll Do

  • Operate various types of equipment per work instructions, independently or in a team environment.
  • Reference work instructions, control plans, visual criteria, in-process quality checks, and accurately log production numbers using electronic devices.
  • Perform repetitive tasks to maintain production pace and meet process metrics such as delivery, efficiency, and quality.
  • Identify and escalate potential equipment problems; react quickly and maintain a safe, clean workspace; follow 6S standards.
  • Use fixtures, jigs, and hand tools as necessary to ensure proper positioning and movement of components and parts.
  • Work on a raised platform safely; collaborate with Machine Set Up Technician to resolve equipment issues; conduct Autonomous Maintenance tasks as prescribed.
  • Clean equipment as required to ensure proper operation.
  • Place processed parts into containers and palletize per the work instruction and specified quantities per the part tag.
  • Perform other duties and projects as determined by business and production needs.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 0-1 years of machine operation experience.
  • Ability to read and understand provided work instructions; able to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Basic math skills; basic mechanical skills; basic computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail; safety-minded and able to follow 6S standards.
  • Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing production needs.

Nice to Have

  • Experience reading fixtures, jigs, and using hand tools.
  • Familiarity with 6S standards and autonomous maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to work on a raised platform.
  • Willingness to train on 1st shift during the first weeks.
