Job Description:

Education

• Required: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse Program if hired after March 1, 2025; proof of graduation not required if LVN license issued and maintained in good standing by California Board of Vocational Nursing prior to January 1, 2000; if assigned to CC7700 Wound Care Clinic (Warke) must complete Hyperbaric Medicine (HBOT) training course completion within one (1) year of hire

Licensure/Certification:

• Required: California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN); Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association (AHA);

Additional certifications required as outlined:

Intravenous Therapy and Blood Withdrawal Certification:

Upon hire:

• 7010 Emergency Room

Within 90 days:

• 6401 Perinatology

• 7013 OB-ED (Obstetrics Emergency Dept)

Within 6 months:

• 7087 EDOC Pain Management (South Palm Canyon)
