About the Role Join Mannheim School District 83 as Lunch Monitor in Franklin Park, IL. This part-time onsite role provides basic supervisory care during lunchtime and recess, ensuring student safety and a positive lunchtime experience.
What You'll Do
- Supervise students during lunch and recess to maintain a safe, orderly environment.
- Assist students with meals, monitor eating and hydration, and report dietary or disciplinary concerns to teachers.
- Observe and document student progress and concerns; communicate needs to the teaching staff.
- Support the lunchroom team and students with transitions and behavior management; redirect as needed for safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including occasional lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma required; job training provided.
- Ability to supervise and communicate effectively with students and staff.
- Physical ability to walk, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 pounds with assistance; comfortable in indoor/outdoor settings.
- Availability Monday–Friday 11:00 am–2:00 pm.

Compensation & Benefits
- Starting rate: $17.20/hour.
