Job title: LSA Project Lead Engineer

About the Role To conduct Logistics Support Analyses and studies within ISR work-packages part of new build projects, and to lead the LSA process and deliverables across projects.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the implementation of the LSA process to conduct LSA studies and provide contractual LSA deliverables on projects
  • Lead the extended project LSA team for complex projects requiring large LSA staffing
  • Identify and monitor workload forecasts for LSA activities and ensure adequate staffing of project ISR teams
  • Develop and synthesize customer requirements in compliance with applicable reference libraries
  • Develop and implement the LSA management plan for involved projects
  • Execute LSA studies and deliverables along the project lifecycle in line with the LSA management plan
  • Monitor planning, cost and quality of the LSA content and provide reporting to project stakeholders
  • Coordinate with other Métier or Function teams for LSA process implementation and interface management
  • Validate service commitments from suppliers in sourcing; challenge commitments as needed
  • Coordinate contributions from external suppliers and ISR representatives to achieve LSA objectives with a focus on LCC
  • Ensure consistency of ISR package components (spare parts, maintenance documentation, etc.) to support LCC performance
  • Support ISR project leads in ISR Design Reviews and ISR work-package reviews for the LSA portion
  • Produce LSA KPI dashboard per Product Line Services guidelines focusing on LCC
  • Ensure life cycle cost commitments are met with escalation where needed
  • Produce REX reports on LSA after ISR work-package execution, identifying improvements and best practices
  • Provide ad-hoc LSA content for ISR QCD commitments on tenders if required
  • Lead and develop the extended LSA project team in accordance with Alstom requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in LSA – Process, Standards & Tools
  • General technical knowledge and product maintainability knowledge; ideally with railways maintenance depot experience
  • Product technical LCC knowledge
  • Ability to define, plan and pilot LSA activities; plan and pilot maintenance engineering activities
  • LSA technical knowledge; serviceability follow-up/improvement
  • Configuration management and change management; maintenance optimization
  • Minimum 2 years experience for LSA Senior Engineer; 4 years for LSA Project Lead Engineer in engineering roles or WP management on projects (RS, D&IS, System & Infrastructure)
  • Direct customer interfacing; English working level (others as applicable)
  • Project experience in rolling stock maintenance or signaling/infrastructure maintenance engineering roles
  • Experience in customer interfacing and supplier management
