Job title: LPN/LVN - Full Time
About the Role The LPN/LVN will provide clinical functions on the unit, including all aspects of patient care in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act. The staff LPN/LVN ensures the unit functions smoothly under the direction of the Registered Nurse, delivering direct care and supervising delegated nursing tasks.
What You'll Do
- Perform nursing care on the unit following the nursing process and professional standards.
- Identify learning needs and educate patients and families.
- Communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Apply professional standards of practice in everyday job situations.
- Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants, Nurse Aides and Techs as assigned.
- Assist with developing and implementing individualized patient care plans.
What We're Looking For
- Current, valid LPN/LVN license in the state of employment.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- IV Certification.
- One year of clinical experience preferred.
- Three years of medical/surgical experience preferred.
- One year of area-specific experience preferred.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Working knowledge of computer applications used in job functions.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Regular and punctual attendance.
- English language proficiency.
Nice to Have
- Supervisory experience with CNAs, nurse aides, or techs (preferred).
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $35.43 - $47.00 per hour (USD).
