About this role
Join Astera Health as an LPN or CMA in a patient-centered clinic focused on safety, quality, and excellence. This full-time role offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus and a Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm schedule, with weekend/holiday rotation up to four Saturdays per year.
What You'll Do
- Perform nursing techniques for the comfort and well-being of patients; prepare equipment and assist providers during treatments and examinations.
- Administer prescribed medications orally and by injection, following proper procedures and monitoring for reactions.
- Observe vital signs, document findings, and report patient condition, drug/treatment reactions, and incidents to the provider; maintain accurate medical records.
- Assist with dressing changes and wound/incision care, and help with minor surgical procedures including room setup, instrument preparation, and sterilization.
