About the Role Join Kentfield Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) on the night shift in our Marin facility. This full-time role provides direct patient care and supports nursing operations on the unit under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a Long-Term Acute Care setting. You will collaborate closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support recovery throughout each patient's personalized treatment plan. What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care and participate in the nursing process per applicable Nurse Practice Act.
- Identify learning needs and educate patients and families.
- Communicate and collaborate with a variety of teams and individuals.
- Apply professional standards of practice to maintain quality and safety on the unit.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to Certified Nursing Assistants, Nurse Aides, and Techs as assigned.
- Ensure smooth, organized, and efficient unit operation and patient flow under the direction of the Registered Nurse. What We're Looking For
- Current, valid license to practice as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse in California.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- IV certification required.
- One (1) year of clinical experience in a health care setting preferred; Three (3) years medical/surgical experience preferred; One (1) year of area-specific experience preferred.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements; strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions; effective communication and collaboration; working knowledge of computer/software applications used in job functions.
- Freedom from illegal use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace; regular and punctual attendance. Nice to Have
- Three (3) years medical/surgical experience preferred.
- One (1) year of area-specific experience preferred.
- Ability to project a professional image. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $35.43 - $47.00 per hour.
