About the Role Logan Health seeks a Montana-licensed LPN to provide practical nursing care in the Chester Critical Access Hospital and LTC settings. The role emphasizes patient safety, adherence to policies and scope of practice, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality, compassionate care.

What You'll Do

  • Administer medications, treatments, provider-specified care, and intravenous therapy in compliance with Logan Health policies and nursing scope of practice.
  • Perform focused patient assessments at regular intervals and monitor vital signs and labs; reassess and implement ordered interventions.
  • Document all clinical findings accurately and promptly to regulatory and LH standards.
  • Communicate appropriate and critical changes in a patient’s condition to the responsible provider in a timely manner.
  • Operate and maintain equipment to departmental standards; uphold nursing standards of care.
  • Maintain professional conduct, teamwork, and patient confidentiality; contribute to cost containment and efficient use of resources.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of policies/procedures and regulatory requirements relevant to the assigned area.

What We're Looking For

  • Current Montana LPN license required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar position within a medical setting (e.g., physician practice or hospital).
  • Current BLS/CPR Certification required as applicable to assigned areas.
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, self-starter; strong critical thinking; ability to set priorities; able to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Commitment to teamwork and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Proficiency with computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn other software as needed.
