What You’ll Do

• As an Endpoint Engineer on Cyera’s Endpoint team, you will play a pivotal role in developing our endpoint capabilities, taking full ownership from design to production. Your work will focus on creating efficient and secure detection and prevention capabilities, implementing robust command and control processes, and ensuring top-tier performance and reliability. Key responsibilities include designing and building endpoint components that collect data, detect risky activity and remediate them; building extensible endpoint capabilities for understanding how AI is used on the endpoint; researching how AI applications and agents behave and finding reliable ways to observe and control them; building the core capabilities every endpoint component depends on, such as updates, health monitoring and secure communication; owning features from design to production, including performance, reliability and rollout across large device fleets.

Our Tech Stack:

• Rust, Tokio, OpenAPI, Python

Requirements

• 5+ years of development experience in system programming using Rust with a focus on system-level applications.

• Strong understanding of operating systems, including hands-on experience with WinAPI for Windows or macOS APIs for Mac.

• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments.

• Proven ability to build end-to-end systems, including the design of complex interfaces and data pipelines.

• You use AI tools in your daily engineering work (coding assistants, agents, LLMs) and have clear opinions on where they help and where they fall short.

• Familiarity with Windows ETW, macOS Endpoint Security, or eBPF - Advantage.

• Familiarity with AI applications, agents or LLM tooling - Advantage.
