The Enterprise brand of Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a Lot Driver located at the Birmingham Airport.

The lot driver is responsible for moving and positioning vehicles to various designated locations between our properties for servicing, transport and/or rental. A driver will perform all daily responsibilities with a focus on the needs to have vehicles ready for customers in accordance with our high-quality standards.

This position pays $12.00 / hour and is located at the Birmingham Airport: 5900 Messer Airport Hwy Birmingham, Alabama 35212.

Sunday: 3:00PM - 12:00AM
Monday: 3:00PM - 12:00AM
Tuesday: OFF
Wednesday: OFF
Thursday: 3:00PM - 12:00AM
Friday: 3:00PM - 12:00AM
Saturday: 3:00PM - 12:00AM

This is a non-CDL, local driving position that offers you the chance to drive multiple new model cars.

Responsibilities

Our Drivers are responsible for the transporting and shuttling of rental vehicles around and between our National/Alamo and Enterprise locations at Birmingham Airport.
Drive the vehicles from return location to cleaning/servicing location
Drive serviced vehicles from cleaning location to ready line location and park for easy access by customers
Move vehicles to different areas of the lot or facility as needed and directed by management
Deliver vehicles to other Enterprise locations off Airport property as directed by management
Ride with or follow drivers to drop off vehicle(s) or pick up vehicle(s)
May need to communicate via 2-way radio or cellular phone
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past three years.
Candidates with more than 1 excessive speeding violation (defined as 26 or more miles per hour over the posted speed limit) on their driving record within the last 3 years will be disqualified from consideration
No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past five years
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
Must be living within a reasonable commute of no more than 30 minutes from this location
Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience

My name is Michael uh or Mike. I've been working for the company as a management trainee for almost a year now. Enterprise Mobility's management training programme was really enticing for me just because I had heard how you can really set up a good foundation for your career, you know, all the opportunity that was at your disposal once you do the time and you work for the company, you kinda see what's um out there for you to kind of go into. Enterprise just seemed like the perfect fit with what I wanted with my career goals. I've always loved the idea that there's so much opportunity for growth. You don't have to come into a company and just stay at your one position, your one job. You can always be looking forward and, you know, trying something else. The big motivating factor for me at Enterprise Mobility is progression. Uh, we're a company that works hard, we reward hard work. So every day I get out of bed knowing that I'm doing my job to the best of my ability, and I will be rewarded for it. I joined Enterprise Mobility because I really like the culture and ethos. Uh, I like what they do. I like how they, um, motivate people, motivate communities, and the way they grow also, they are very superb multinational company.
