Loss Prevention Investigator
SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for handling investigations by assisting members who have experienced fraudulent transactions or suspect inappropriate access to their accounts at Georgia’s Own. The position is also responsible for validating the identities of new members and monitoring and/or researching information to determine if account holders are attempting high-risk activities that expose the credit union to financial risk, as well as potential legal and regulatory risk.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct and coordinate reviews of transactional information to detect cases of fraudulent activity (e.g., check kiting, structuring, transferred funds and fraudulent claims for reimbursement, etc.).
