Job title: Loss Control Coordinator
About the Role The Lawson Group is seeking a dedicated Loss Control professional to support our workers’ compensation members by delivering proactive loss control services designed to prevent injuries and reduce claim costs. This role focuses on practical training, on-site guidance, and tailored safety resources to fit each workplace.
What You'll Do
- Provide regular on-site loss control support grounded in real work conditions and act as a go-to safety partner for client sites
- Deliver safety training on-site, via webinars, and through the Loss Control Coordinator Academy
- Develop and implement safety programs, educate employees, and help clients recognize and mitigate risks
- Coach and support safety committees to stay active, organized, and useful
- Focus on high-cost injury areas such as slips/trips/falls, strains/sprains, and caught-in or struck-by incidents
- Help clients achieve fewer injuries, fewer claims, and more predictable workers’ comp costs
What We're Looking For
- Experience in loss control, safety training, risk assessment, and safety program development
- Ability to provide practical, actionable safety guidance and resources
- Strong communication skills to engage employees, management, and safety committees
- Willingness to support both on-site work and remote training activities
Nice to Have
- Interest in continuing education and participation in programs like the Loss Control Coordinator Academy
- Enthusiasm for teaching and coaching others about injury prevention
