Position Summary The elementary school teacher is responsible for creating a supportive learning environment that fosters academic, social, and emotional growth of students. The teacher plans and implements lessons in a variety of subjects, assesses student progress, and collaborates with parents, colleagues, and administrators to ensure the success of each child.
Responsibilities
- Instructional planning and delivery
- Plan, prepare, and implement lesson materials in accordance with district resources and alignment with State standards and Antioch CCSD 34's philosophy and objectives
- Employs a variety of instructional methods/techniques and materials to differentiate learning activities for all students
- Actively engage in all data related meetings including weekly student learning team (SLT) meetings
