About the Role Long Term Care RN provides professional nursing care for adult and geriatric populations, including assessments, implementing and evaluating care plans, and coordinating care with other disciplines. This role supports Logan Health’s mission to deliver quality, compassionate care. What You'll Do
- Perform admission assessments and ongoing reassessments per hospital policies and unit standards.
- Obtain informed consent for treatments and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Administer medications with proper documentation and monitor patient response.
- Document assessments and treatments in the computerized system, timely and accurately.
- Communicate treatment plans, educational resources, and updates with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Perform nursing procedures (blood pressure checks, inhalation therapy, catheterization, dressing changes) and inform providers of significant changes.
- Adhere to infection control and safety policies; manage disposal of biohazard materials.
- Conduct environmental cleaning and quality control of equipment; maintain inventory of supplies.
- Precept or assist with orientation of new personnel; ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Work with night shifts on a 12-hour schedule with rotating days including weekends and holidays; Logan Health operates 24/7. What We're Looking For
- Graduate of RN program from an accredited school of Nursing.
- Current Montana RN license or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice in Montana; required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Minimum of one year related experience preferred. Nice to Have
- Experience in long-term care or geriatric settings (not explicitly required but beneficial). Compensation & Benefits
