Role: Manage data center inventory and logistics, including incoming/outgoing deliveries, inventory audits, equipment movement, vendor coordination, and data-bearing device destruction.

Key responsibilities:

  • Track and reconcile IT inventory and perform cycle audits.
  • Handle shipping, receiving, package documentation, and material movement.
  • Manage data-bearing device destruction and server decommissioning.
  • Process hardware warranties, RMAs, and failed equipment returns.
  • Coordinate security escorts for third-party vendors.
  • Support rack movement and data center logistics activities.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages/discrepancies.
  • Follow security, safety, and data-management procedures.
  • Work 12-hour shifts, potentially including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma + 6 months experience or internship in inventory, retail, warehouse management, or related work.
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud background screening.
  • U.S. citizenship verification is required for this position.
  • Must already have U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship.

Preferred:

  • 2+ years in warehouse/supply chain, IT logistics, or similar environments.
  • Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, chassis lifts, or similar equipment.

In short: A hands-on data center logistics and inventory role focused on moving, tracking, receiving, and decommissioning IT equipment rather than software or traditional IT support.
