Job title: Logistics / Supply Chain Planner
About the Role We are seeking a Logistics/SC Planner to generate and monitor shipment production plans to meet customer requirements in coordination with production. Ensure compliance with shipping programs and just-in-time, lean logistics. Manage material supply to avoid line stoppages and excessive costs, optimize inventory, design packaging, verify packaging specs with customers and suppliers, manage customer charges, and execute logistics activities in engineering changes.
What You'll Do
- Generate and monitor shipment production plan based on customer requirements in coordination with the production department.
- Ensure compliance with shipping programs and customer requirements, delivering just-in-time and lean logistics.
- Ensure supplier material supply to prevent line stoppages and extraordinary costs.
- Plan and execute optimal inventory control per guidelines.
- Design and improve product packaging; verify compliance with customer and supplier packaging specs.
- Manage customer charges efficiently.
- Execute logistical activities in engineering changes.
What We're Looking For
- Industrial Engineer, International Business or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Conversational English.
- Ideally experience in time and motion analysis and internal logistics management.
- Physical and virtual warehouse management experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience with time and motion analysis and internal logistics management.
- SAP experience for physical and virtual warehouse management.
