Job title: Logistics Projects Americas Director

About the Role The Logistics Projects Americas Director leads a portfolio of distribution and transportation projects valued between $10M and $50M, applying a disciplined project management framework to drive D2C transformation, reduce costs, and integrate IT systems that strengthen regional supply chain resilience. The role covers USA, Canada and Mexico, with opportunities to participate in global projects.

What You'll Do

  • Contribute to Amer Sports global strategy with primary focus on NAM project management
  • Architect, orchestrate, and lead high-impact regional supply chain initiatives, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives
  • Develop and champion robust project concepts and business cases, maintaining rigorous control over quality, cost, scope, and timelines through deep-dive data analytics
  • Spearhead project realization with end-to-end accountability for financial budgets, resource allocation, IT infrastructure, and final strategic decisions
  • Monitor the project success after the realization / GoLive; drive project hyper care following the GoLive until projects are properly handed over through established RACI to internal customers
  • Establish rigorous tracking and monitoring frameworks to manage risk, prioritize workstreams, and provide transparent communication to executive stakeholders
  • Proactively identify and propose transformational improvements to optimize supply chain efficiency and scalability
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing regional project management team, with a scope primarily focused on North America (NAM) and opportunities to influence global strategy across Europe and Asia; consisting of 4 team members across USA, CAN, and MEX

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 10+ years progressive experience in Logistics / Warehousing / Transport, with contribution to significant logistics projects such as warehouse extension, warehouse automation
  • 8+ years prior experience managing a team
  • Master’s degree in supply chain, Logistics or Engineering preferred; bachelor’s degree plus equivalent and extended working experience may be considered
  • Technical Skills: Deep subject matter expertise in Logistics, Warehousing, and Transportation operations
  • Strong data analytics, budgeting, and IT infrastructure capabilities; proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives

Nice to Have

  • Master’s degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree plus equivalent may be considered
  • Experience influencing global strategy across multiple regions (Europe, Asia)
