About the Role
Join GRAMMER as a Logistics Project Planner to manage project-driven information and material flows, coordinate with multiple departments and customers, and optimize logistics performance. You will serve as a SAP super user in logistics, support new logistics initiatives, and ensure timely procurement to meet SOPs. This role supports the automotive/mobility supply chain across Tianjin with a global team.
What You'll Do
- Work with each department and customer to draft information flow and material flow for project progress, including defining transportation routes and modes for customer purchasing orders and call-offs.
- Create logistics performance measurements and logistics agreements with customers per Grammer logistics requirements.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, and other teams to supply material to meet demand before SOP.
- Issue purchase forecasts and purchase orders and follow up delivery dates to ensure on-time procurement.
- Lead new logistics projects/workshops (e.g., barcode and kanban) and initiatives.
- Act as SAP super user in logistics.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the logistics manager.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent communication skills with strong written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of international trade/transportation.
- Familiarity with SAP/ERP systems.
- Knowledge of legislation and ability to communicate effectively.
- Good team player and quick learner.
- University degree or above in logistics, trade or English; at least five years of experience in automotive or manufacturing.
