About the Role CNH Industrial Zedelgem is looking for a Logistics Project Engineer. Your responsibilities include leading the transition to Industry 5.0 automation, guiding and tracking the introduction of AMR/AGV (Autonomous mobile robot/Automated Guided Vehicle), and optimizing our logistics systems. What You'll Do
- Lead the logistics transition to Industry 5.0 as project leader; drive automation and oversee AMR/AGV implementation.
- Optimize the logistics processes (Kaizen / NVAA-Analysis / layout studies / …).
- Bring operational logistics to life by defining the full logistics flow (location + JIT / JIS / kitting / Kanban / …) and identifying required capex and tools (racks, trolleys, pallet jacks, …).
- Maintain strong contact with Manufacturing Engineering, Design, Purchasing, Quality to discuss improvements and issues. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor or Master in a technical or logistics field.
- Strong affinity/interest for the logistics process within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of automation. Willingness to follow an Industrial Engineering course and take an exam.
- Knowledge of project management, Lean, Kaizen methodology is a plus.
- Ability to process data in MS Office, Power BI.
- Fluency in Dutch and English with good communication skills. Nice to Have
