About the Role Join Volkswagen Group Services in Palmela as a Logistics Planning - Process Simulation. You will create process simulation models using specialized software, feed them with validated operational data, and analyze results to propose improvements. You will explore different scenarios to support strategic decisions and collaborate with engineering and logistics teams while maintaining up-to-date documentation.
What You'll Do
- Create process simulation models using specialized software
- Collect, process and validate operational data to feed simulation models
- Analyze simulation results and prepare reports with improvement proposals
- Simulate different scenarios (layout, capacity, shifts, process changes) to support strategic decisions
- Collaborate with engineering and logistics teams
- Document simulated processes and keep the database up to date
What We're Looking For
- Higher education in Industrial Engineering, Logistics or similar (mandatory)
- 2 years of experience in similar roles (mandatory)
- Knowledge of process simulation (preferred)
- Proficiency with simulation software (preferred: Siemens Tecnomatix or FlexSim)
- Analytical ability and data interpretation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Good knowledge of Excel and data analysis tools
- Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Qlik Sense)
