They are seeking an experienced and highly organised Logistics Manager to oversee the efficient movement, storage, delivery, and installation of furniture, interior materials, equipment, and other project related items. The ideal candidate will have strong experience coordinating logistics operations, managing drivers and delivery teams, planning routes, monitoring inventory movement, and ensuring that products reach clients and project sites safely and on schedule. The role requires someone who is highly organised, commercially aware, solution oriented, and capable of working in a fast paced environment where delivery timelines and customer experience are critical.

Key responsibilities

• Logistics Operations: Plan and coordinate daily logistics activities, including deliveries, pickups, transfers, and movement of furniture and interior materials. Develop efficient delivery schedules and routes to minimise delays, transportation costs, and unnecessary vehicle movement. Coordinate the movement of furniture from the workshop, warehouse, showroom, suppliers, and project sites. Ensure all deliveries are properly documented and completed within agreed timelines. Monitor deliveries from dispatch through to final delivery and installation. Coordinate logistics for multiple interior projects simultaneously.
• Fleet and Driver Management: Manage company vehicles, drivers, dispatch riders, and third party logistics providers. Prepare and maintain driver schedules and vehicle allocation plans. Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, servicing, repairs, and maintenance. Ensure all company vehicles are properly maintained and available when required. Monitor driver performance, punctuality, conduct, and compliance with company policies. Ensure drivers follow approved routes and maintain proper delivery documentation.
• Furniture Delivery and Installation: Coordinate the safe transportation of furniture, fittings, décor items, and interior materials. Ensure furniture is properly packaged, loaded, secured, transported, and unloaded to prevent damage. Coordinate with installation teams to ensure furniture and interior items arrive at project sites before or alongside installation teams. Conduct or coordinate delivery checks to ensure items delivered correspond with approved orders and project requirements. Escalate cases involving damaged, missing, incorrect, or delayed items and coordinate appropriate resolution.
• Inventory and Warehouse Coordination: Work closely with the warehouse and operations teams to monitor the movement of stock. Maintain accurate records of items dispatched, delivered, returned, transferred, or awaiting delivery. Ensure proper documentation for all movement of furniture and materials. Coordinate returns and reverse logistics when required. Support periodic stock counts and reconciliation of logistics related inventory.
• Vendor and Third Party Management: Identify and coordinate reliable third party transporters and logistics service providers when required. Negotiate transportation rates and ensure logistics costs remain within approved budgets. Monitor the performance of external logistics providers and address service failures promptly. Maintain a database of approved logistics vendors, drivers, and service providers.
• Customer and Project Coordination: Work closely with the sales, project management, design, warehouse, and installation teams to coordinate deliveries. Communicate delivery schedules to relevant internal teams and clients where required. Ensure clients receive professional and courteous service during deliveries. Resolve delivery related complaints and escalate complex issues appropriately. Provide regular updates on ongoing deliveries and project logistics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or OND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transport Management, Operations Management, or a related field. 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, fleet management, supply chain, or operations. Experience in furniture, interior design, construction, building materials, retail, e commerce, or a related industry will be an advantage. Demonstrated experience managing drivers, delivery teams, vehicles, and third party logistics providers. Strong knowledge of Lagos routes, particularly Lekki and surrounding areas. Good understanding of inventory movement and delivery documentation. Strong organisational and coordination skills. Excellent problem solving and communication abilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deliveries and project timelines simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other logistics or inventory management tools. Ability to analyse logistics costs and identify opportunities for operational efficiency.

Salary

150,000 - 250,000 monthly.
