Job Description / Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate the company’s daily logistics and transportation operations. Plan and monitor deliveries, dispatches, routes, and fleet activities to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. Supervise drivers, riders, dispatch personnel, and other logistics staff. Monitor vehicle utilization, maintenance, fuel consumption, and overall fleet performance. Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements. Track delivery performance and ensure agreed SLAs and customer expectations are consistently met. Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Liaise with customers, vendors, drivers, and internal departments to resolve logistics and delivery issues. Prepare and review logistics reports, operational KPIs, and performance metrics. Ensure proper documentation and accountability for all logistics activities. Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, cost management, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certification in Logistics/Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience, with substantial experience in a managerial / supervisory logistics role.
• Must have worked in a logistics, transportation, freight, or supply chain company.
• Proven experience managing logistics operations, fleet, deliveries, and operational teams.
• Demonstrated experience in improving operational efficiency and meeting delivery/service-level targets.

Other Requirements:

• Must demonstrate strong leadership, accountability, and operational discipline.
• Must be results-oriented and capable of managing multiple logistics activities simultaneously.
• Willingness to work flexible hours when operational requirements demand it.
• Candidates with strong knowledge of the Nigerian logistics and transportation industry will be preferred.
