Job Title: Logistics Manager

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the company’s daily logistics and transportation operations.
• Plan and monitor deliveries, dispatches, routes, and fleet activities to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
• Supervise drivers, riders, dispatch personnel, and other logistics staff.
• Monitor vehicle utilization, maintenance, fuel consumption, and overall fleet performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Track delivery performance and ensure agreed SLAs and customer expectations are consistently met.
• Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Liaise with customers, vendors, drivers, and internal departments to resolve logistics and delivery issues.
• Prepare and review logistics reports, operational KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Ensure proper documentation and accountability for all logistics activities.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, cost management, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certification in Logistics/Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience, with substantial experience in a managerial / supervisory logistics role.
• Must have worked in a logistics, transportation, freight, or supply chain company.
• Proven experience managing logistics operations, fleet, deliveries, and operational teams.
• Demonstrated experience in improving operational efficiency and meeting delivery/service-level targets.

Other Requirements:

• Must demonstrate strong leadership, accountability, and operational discipline.
• Must be results-oriented and capable of managing multiple logistics activities simultaneously.
• Willingness to work flexible hours when operational requirements demand it.
• Candidates with strong knowledge of the Nigerian logistics and transportation industry will be preferred.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Remuneration

N300,000 – N350,000 monthly, depending on experience and qualifications.
