Overview
LMI is seeking a Logistics Data Analyst who has experience in data analytics and logisitics, and is willing to take on other program management support activities to join our DHS FEMA Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Operations Division's Securing the Cities Team. The successful candidate will be a professional, highly organized, detail oriented self-starter who takes initiative and enjoys working in a fast paced, team oriented environment. This position requires an active Secret clearance and ability to obtain DHS Suitability. This is an Offsite position, which can be remotely supported.

Responsibilities

Support federal, state, local, tribal and territorial agencies in the development, implementation and sustainment of Radiological and Nuclear detection programs and capabilities by providing information resources, processes, facilitation, and guidance on document development and strategic planning and supporting development of plans and procedures.

Create, maintain, and optimize Excel spreadsheets using advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookup functions, conditional logic, and data modeling to support program operations and reporting.

Validate, clean, and standardize data to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal reporting requirements.

Provide analytical products to federal and contractor personnel, enabling efficient resource allocation and mission execution.

Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures.

Identify opportunities to automate workflows, streamline reporting processes, and enhance data accessibility across the program.

Maintain documentation of data processes, formulas, dashboards, and reporting standards to ensure continuity and adherence to federal guidelines.

Analyze complex datasets and communicate findings clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.

Conduct work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. Includes program analysts and management consultants.

Support in program management and Grants program execution.

Travel as required.
Qualifications

BA/BS degree or equivalent.

3-10 years of experience in relevant field.

Active Secret Clearance.

Ability to obtain DHS Suitability.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Experience working as a government consultant.

Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and data modeling.

Proficiency in other MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint), SharePoint and MS Teams.

Target salary range: $52,000 - $88,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
