We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator / Freight Brokerage Assistant, who can assist our team with daily operations, customer communication, and load management.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with carriers and drivers regarding load updates, pickup and delivery appointments, and ETAs.
- Track and trace shipments throughout transit.
- Assist with carrier sourcing, negotiating rates, and booking loads.
- Provide customers with timely updates and resolve any transportation issues.
- Manage emails, update our TMS, and maintain accurate shipment records.
- Assist with general freight brokerage operations as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with a U.S.-based freight brokerage or trucking company is strongly preferred.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with DAT, and transportation management systems is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Working conditions:
- Working schedule: Monday - Friday 8-5 CST
