We are looking for a detail-focused Logistics Clerk to support day-to-day transportation and order coordination activities in Ravenna, Ohio. This Long-term Contract position plays an important role in keeping shipment records accurate, processing logistics transactions, and helping ensure customer deliveries move forward on schedule. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working with multiple systems, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders, purchase details, and shipping information in company logistics platforms with a high level of accuracy.
• Update outbound order records and track shipment progress to help maintain timely delivery schedules.
• Support transactional logistics activities such as delivery documentation, warehouse issues, goods movement entries, and billing-related records.
• Enter and maintain shipment details in third-party logistics tools and internal tracking systems.
• Review shipping documentation for completeness and accuracy, and organize records for ongoing reference and compliance.
• Assist with coordinating shipment timing, maintaining logistics files, and reporting status issues to the broader team.
• Prepare spreadsheets, summaries, and routine reports to support departmental decision-making and daily operations.
• Help with invoice-related paperwork, administrative tasks, and operational projects that improve logistics processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.

• Strong accuracy in data entry and record maintenance.

• Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Clear communication skills and sound problem-solving ability.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous experience in logistics, shipping, customer service, order processing, or administrative support is preferred.

• Familiarity with manufacturing operations or transportation management systems is an asset.
