Role Description The Logistic and Depot Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos, responsible for overseeing daily depot operations and logistics activities. This role manages inventory levels, monitors stock movements, and ensures accurate documentation for all incoming and outgoing products. The Manager coordinates product distribution, supervises depot staff, and maintains efficient workflows to meet customer demand and delivery timelines. Responsibilities include implementing and enforcing health and safety standards, resolving customer and distributor issues, and collaborating with other departments to optimize supply chain performance. The role also involves tracking key operational metrics, identifying process improvements, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Stock Management skills, including inventory control, stock reconciliation, and warehousing practices.
• Candidates should possess solid Operations Management skills, such as workflow planning, logistics coordination, and process optimization.
• Candidates should possess effective Team Management skills, including staff supervision, performance monitoring, and shift scheduling.
• Candidates should possess good Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, resolve complaints, and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
• Candidates should possess sound Health & Safety knowledge, including compliance with safety regulations, risk assessment, and safe depot operations.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in FMCG or dairy supply chains, proficiency with inventory and ERP software, strong analytical and reporting skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.
• A relevant Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience in logistics, supply chain, operations management, or a related field is preferred.
