About the Role The Logistics Analyst at Phenomenex (a Danaher operating company) is responsible for optimizing logistics costs and improving supply chain financial performance through data-driven analysis and process improvements. This on-site role, based in Torrance, CA, supports sourcing, network optimization and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure cost-effective, compliant logistics operations. What You'll Do
- Independently verify and analyze complex domestic and international shipments across multiple modes, ensuring compliant, efficient end-to-end execution and proactive resolution of operational challenges.
- Analyze freight spend, carrier performance, and network efficiency to deliver data-driven insights and implement cost-saving and service improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean/DBS methodologies, optimizing logistics processes and systems while embedding Trade Compliance into processes.
- Ensure compliance with global trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies while mitigating logistics risks, acting as the central point of contact to drive timely resolution of trade compliance and logistics risks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and drive strategic initiatives, including carrier sourcing, contract negotiations, and carrier performance reporting to leadership. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree required in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or other field.
- Several years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
