Job title: Logistic Specialist
About the Role The Logistics Specialist will support Corning's import/export operations in China, ensuring timely and compliant customs declarations and coordination with forwarders, brokers, and internal teams to enable on-time shipment delivery.
What You'll Do
- Manage daily import and export customs declarations and related documentation.
- Troubleshoot abnormal cases with engineering, production, planning and purchasing to maintain normal consumption and shipments.
- Communicate with forwarders, Customs, CIQ, and regulatory agencies; stay updated on latest rules.
- Ensure compliance with China Authority principles; perform HTS classification and apply for COO and FORM E.
- Handle import/export customs clearance including shipping documents verification, coordination with forwarders and brokers, and status control of international transportation; input declaration data in the logistics system; file records.
- Coordinate with relevant departments for shipment delivery; perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Adhere to all company EHS rules and procedures.
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years of experience in Import & Export operations.
- English is workable; strong PC skills with office software.
- Knowledge of EHS rules and ability to comply with company policies.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and work cross-functionally across departments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; team player; able to work under pressure.

- Good understanding of cross-cultural differences and ability to work with diverse teams.
