Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist
iWorld Professionals is seeking a Board Certified Gastroenterologist for locum tenens coverage (ONE WEEK PER MONTH) providing inpatient consultations and general GI procedures for both inpatients and outpatients.
Position Highlights: Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist | Plattsburgh, NY
- 9-Month Assignment | Start: October 5, 2026
- One week per month | 32 hours/week
- Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
- Inpatient procedures, outpatient endoscopy, and inpatient consultations
- Friday: 7:30 AM–12:00 PM procedures
$415/hr
- Travel/Lodging Covered
- Weekend Call: Friday noon–Sunday 8:00 AM, including overnight call and emergent inpatient GI procedures
- No scheduled overnight call Monday–Thursday
Practice Highlights:
- Approximately 4–5 new inpatient consults per day
- General GI endoscopy procedures
- Strong APP, nursing, and ancillary support
- Epic EMR
