Locum Physiotherapist

Key Responsibilities
- Assess and treat inpatients referred for physiotherapy, including post- operative, orthopaedic, neurological, and respiratory cases
- Provide chest physiotherapy and respond to urgent ward calls during the night
- Mobilise patients safely and support early recovery plans
- Keep accurate, up-to-date patient treatment records
- Work closely with nurses, doctors, and the physiotherapy department to ensure continuity of care
- Follow hospital infection prevention, patient safety, and clinical protocols
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised institution
- Registered with the Physiotherapy Council of Kenya (PCK), with a valid practising licence
- At least 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in a hospital or inpatient setting
- Valid BLS certification
- Able to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
