Biomedical Scientist in Immunology
Banding: Band 6
Location: Charring Cross Hospitals
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, Core hours only
Hourly Rate: £25 - £27
We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Immunology/Virology/Serology to join our client’s team in the Charing Cross Hospital. This is a full-time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.
Key Responsibilities
- You will perform immunological assays including flow cytometry, ELISA, and immunofluorescence. You will support diagnosis of immune disorders.
Qualifications and Experience

HCPC registration

Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent

Experience in Immunology within a clinical laboratory

Experience with flow cytometry and immunoassays

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

NHS experience (preferred)
