Hourly Rate: £25-30 Umbrella equivalent via trust DE model

We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Biochemistry to join our client’s team in South London. This is a full-time, ongoing position working full shift rota, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.

Key Responsibilities

• You will perform biochemical analyses including routine chemistry, endocrinology, and toxicology using automated platforms. You will ensure accurate results and maintain quality standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• HCPC registration

• Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent

• Experience in Biochemistry within a clinical laboratory

• Experience with automated chemistry analysers - Roche Cobas/Roche Cobas Pro specifically

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• NHS experience (preferred)
