Working Pattern: shifts allocated between 8am - 9pm
Hourly Rate: £25 - £35
We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Biochemistry to join our client’s team in London. This is a full-time, ongoing position working shifts between 8am - 9pm, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.
Key Responsibilities
- You will perform biochemical analyses including routine chemistry, endocrinology, and toxicology using automated platforms. You will ensure accurate results and maintain quality standards.
Qualifications and Experience

HCPC registration
-
Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent

Experience in Biochemistry within a clinical laboratory

Experience with Roche 411/311 analysers, Infinity IQC & Winpath LIMS

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

NHS experience (preferred)
