About the Role The Local Trial Manager (LTM) is accountable for end-to-end trial delivery at the country level in Canada for Oncology/Multi-TA studies. You will serve as the country-level single point of contact for internal partners and ensure consistency of Local Trial Management duties and processes, with accountability for the completion of delegated tasks. What You'll Do
- Oversee Central IRB and local vendors (e.g., Greenphire, Drug Destruction services), including setup of vendor purchase orders, invoice review/approval, and change-orders as applicable.
- Execute local milestones from feasibility through study close-out.
- Resource country-level roles, in collaboration with the study Functional Manager (FM).
- Maintain inspection readiness and AQR at the country level.
- Collaborate with LTMs, Lead Site Manager (LSM), Site Managers (SMs), Clinical Trial Associates (CTAs), and Site Contract Managers (SCMs) to outline accountabilities and provide training where necessary.
- Communicate with Clinical Trial Managers (CTMs), Clinical Operations, and the Global Trial Leader (GTL) to oversee trial excellence.
- Lead country-level ad hoc meetings during any phase to address unexpected circumstances impacting country or study-level deliverables.
- Partner with the study FM to provide updates, discuss hurdles, timelines/resources, and assist with documentation (storyboards, lessons-learned, metrics) as required by leadership. What We're Looking For
- BA/BS degree; health or science-related field.
- Minimum 2 years local trial management experience.
- Start-up & Database Locks/Cleaning experience preferred.
- Cross-therapeutic area trial management experience; Oncology trial management experience required; Early Development experience asset.
- Strong working knowledge of ICH-GCP, SOPs, local laws/regulations (Canada), REB submissions, assigned protocols and related protocol-specific procedures.
- Strong IT skills and familiarity with company systems.
- Willingness to travel with occasional overnight stays.
- Proficient in speaking and writing the country language and English; strong written and oral communication. Nice to Have
