About the Role Linde is seeking a Local Delivery Driver to deliver products to customers and support operations in San Diego. The role involves making multiple stops per day, handling freight, paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.
What You'll Do
- Deliver products to customers, averaging 10-12 stops per day, handling freight and paperwork
- Accurately count and record quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
- Complete hazardous material shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations
- Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Identify and report need for timely vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet business goals
- Expand knowledge of Linde’s operations to support growth
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED; proficient in reading and writing English
- Two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent CDL-B Truck Driving School certification; valid Class B CDL
- Must be 21 years or older; hazmat endorsement on CDL or obtain within 60 days of hire
- No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in past 2 years
- No alcohol-related convictions in past 10 years
- Able to pass DOT physical and obtain medical certificate
- Ability to push, pull, move, and lift at least 75 pounds
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
