About the Role Local Delivery Driver (CDL B) with Linde in Jefferson City, MO is responsible for delivering products to customers, typically 10-12 stops per day, handling freight, completing paperwork, and providing outstanding customer service. The role includes accurate counts of products delivered/picked up, hazmat shipping papers per DOT, and engaging with customers and internal teams to meet business goals. What You'll Do
- Deliver products to customers with an average of 10-12 stops per day, touching freight, and providing excellent customer service
- Accurately count and record quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
- Complete hazmat shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations
- Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Identify needs for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
- Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet business goals
- Continuously build knowledge of how Linde’s business operates to help the organization grow What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED with proficiency in reading and writing in English
- Two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from Truck Driving School, with a valid Class B CDL
- Must be 21 years or older
- Hazmat endorsement on CDL or obtain within 60 days of hire
- No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two years
- No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten years
- Able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
- Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds Compensation & Benefits
