Local Delivery Driver (CDL B)

About the Role This role involves delivering products to customers with an average of 10-12 stops per day, handling freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service. You will count quantities, complete hazardous material shipping papers under DOT regulations, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and collaborate with internal and external customers to meet business goals. What You'll Do

• Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
• Complete hazardous materials shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
• Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives of the business and customer needs
• Continuously build your knowledge on how Linde’s business operates and succeeds to help organization to continue growing What We're Looking For
• High school diploma or GED, with proficiency in reading and writing in English
• Two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School, with a valid Class B CDL
• Must be 21 years or older
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or must obtain one within 60 days of hire
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two (2) years
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten (10) years
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds Nice to Have
