Job title: Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B)

About the Role Linde Local Delivery Driver will deliver products to customers in the Raleigh area, averaging 10-12 stops per day, handling freight, paperwork, and customer service. Includes hazardous materials paperwork per DOT regulations and regular vehicle inspections to keep operations safe and efficient.

What You'll Do

• Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
• Complete hazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT regulations
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
• Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet goals and customer needs
• Continuously build knowledge on how Linde’s business operates and succeeds to help organization grow
• Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED, with proficiency in reading and writing in English
• Two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School, plus a valid Class A or B CDL
• Must be 21 years or older
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or must obtain one within 60 days of hire
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past 2 years
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last 10 years
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds
