Job title: Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B)
About the Role Join Linde as a Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B) in State College, PA. You will deliver products to customers, typically 10-12 stops per day, while handling freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent service, with safety and compliance at the forefront.
What You'll Do
- Deliver products to customers, averaging 10-12 stops per day, touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service
- Accurately count and record quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
- Complete hazardous material shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations
- Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Identify needs for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
- Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet business and customer goals
- Continuously learn how Linde’s business operates to help the organization grow
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED with proficiency in reading and writing English
- Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification, with a valid Class A or B CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Hazmat endorsement on CDL or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
- No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two years
- No alcohol-related convictions in the last 10 years
- Able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
- Ability to push, pull, move, and lift at least 75 pounds
