About the Role Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B) based in Rice, MN, delivers products to customer sites and supports operations by handling freight, paperwork, and customer service. The role involves short daily routes with 10-12 stops, DOT-compliant paperwork, and ongoing safety inspections to ensure reliable service and customer satisfaction. What You'll Do
- Deliver products to customers with an average of 10-12 stops per day, touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service
- Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
- Complete hazardous material shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations
- Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
- Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet business goals and customer needs
- Continuously build knowledge of how Linde’s business operates to help the organization grow What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED; proficiency in reading and writing in English
- Two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School; valid Class A or B CDL
- Must be 21 years or older
- Hazmat endorsement on CDL or must obtain within 60 days of hire
- No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two years
- No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten years
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
- Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds Nice to Have Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $21.00 - $29.00 hourly (commensurate with experience)
