Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B)

About the Role Join Linde as a Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B) responsible for delivering products to customer sites in the Lafayette, IN area. You will touch freight, perform paperwork, and ensure DOT-compliant hazmat shipping orders while maintaining safety and service standards. This role supports Linde's operations by enabling timely deliveries and strong customer partnerships. What You'll Do

• Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazardous materials shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance.
• Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives of the business and customer needs.
• Continuously build your knowledge on how Linde’s business operates and succeeds to help organization to continue growing.
• Work schedules typically include 1st shift, 6:30am-3:30pm. What We're Looking For
• High school diploma or GED, with proficiency in reading and writing in English.
• Two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School, along with a valid Class A or B CDL.
• This role requires you to be 21 years or older.
• Hazmat endorsement on your CDL or must obtain one within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two (2) years.
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten (10) years.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds. Compensation & Benefits
