About the Role Local Delivery Driver delivers products to customers, averaging 10-12 stops per day, while handling freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires accurate counting and recording of products, DOT-compliant hazmat shipping papers, and routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability. You will build relationships with internal and external customers and continually learn how Linde operates to support growth. What You'll Do
- Deliver products to customers with an average of 10-12 stops per day, touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.
- Accurately count and record quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
- Complete hazardous material shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections; identify needs for timely vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives of the business and customer needs.
- Continuously build knowledge on how Linde’s business operates to help the organization grow. What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED; proficiency in reading and writing in English.
- Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School; valid Class A or B CDL.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Hazmat endorsement on CDL or must obtain within 60 days of hire.
- No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past 2 years.
- No alcohol-related convictions within the last 10 years.
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
- Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds. Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $22.91 - $30.55 hourly.
