Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B)

About the Role Join Linde's Houston delivery team as a Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B). You will deliver products to customers with an average of 10-12 stops per day, handle freight, complete paperwork, and provide excellent customer service while ensuring DOT hazmat compliance. What You'll Do

• Deliver products to customers with an average of 10-12 stops per day, touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazardous materials shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections; identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers to meet business goals and customer needs; continuously learn how Linde’s business operates to support growth.
• Perform additional duties as assigned. What We're Looking For
• High school diploma or GED; proficient in reading and writing in English.
• Two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School; valid Class A or B CDL.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or must obtain within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past 2 years.
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last 10 years.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds. Compensation & Benefits
• Pay Range: $28.50 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.
