Job title: Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B)
About the Role Linde Advanced Material Technologies is seeking a Local Delivery Driver to deliver products to customers in Everett, MA. You will handle approximately 10-12 stops per day, touch freight, complete paperwork, and provide excellent customer service while ensuring DOT and hazmat compliance.
What You'll Do
- Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service
- Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
- Complete hazardous material shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations
- Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
- Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet business goals
- Continuously build knowledge of Linde's business operations to help the organization grow
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED; proficiency in reading/writing English
- 2 years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School; valid Class A or B CDL
- Must be 21 years or older
- Hazmat endorsement on CDL or obtain within 60 days of hire
- No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past 2 years
- No alcohol-related convictions within the last 10 years
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
- Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $23.58 - $34.59 per hour
- Sign on Bonus: $2,500 after 90 days
- Retention Bonus: $2,500 after 365 days
