About the Role Local Delivery Driver (CDL A) in Stockton, CA, delivers products to customers with an average of 10-12 stops per day, touches freight, completes paperwork, and provides excellent customer service. Position also requires accurate counting/recording of delivered and picked up quantities and styles, and compliance with DOT hazmat shipping regulations. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, identify maintenance needs, and build relationships with internal and external customers to help the organization grow.

What You'll Do

• Deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service.
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazardous material shipping papers in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance.
• Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives of the business and customer needs.
• Continuously build knowledge on how Linde’s business operates and succeeds to help organization to continue growing.

What We're Looking For

• A high school diploma or GED; proficiency in reading and writing in English.
• Two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School, along with a valid Class A CDL.
• You must be 21 years or older.
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or must obtain one within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two (2) years.
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten (10) years.
• You must be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate.
• Ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds is required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $24.17 - $35.46 per hour (USD).
